3 Things to Experience in Labo, Camarines Norte

A first class town in Camarines Norte with a population of over 100,000, Labo is located at the center of the province. The humble town south of Metro Manila has no offering as big as Calaguas or Caramoan, but she can give three memorable adventures you should not miss when you visit the Bicol peninsula.

1. Experience nature's cold water flowing in Binuang Falls

To reach Binuang Falls, we had to walk for about 15 minutes up the mountain from the road. We passed by a small village before finally reaching the falls.

Entrance: P10.00

There are three waterfalls so when you are not satisfied with the first one, you can climb up for about five minutes to get to the second one. The third one has a natural pool where other co-bloggers had a fun dip with locals who were our tour guides.

Because I was worried with the battery of my mobile phone (yes there are millions of images to capture there), I approached the woman in the hut near the entrance if I could get my phone re-charged. She asked me about the reason why we were there and accommodated my request in exchange of P10.

Barangay officials were also present during our tour. They are still working on the preparation of Labo to become another major tourist destination in Camarines Norte.

2. Experience Bicolano Dishes at Villa Eusebia

How about lunch or dinner by the river? When you visit Labo, drop by Villa Eusebia for a romantic meal.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a crowd. But no there did not know us. There was a wedding that time so we headed directly to the reserved table for us which was just beside the Bus-ig River.

The view of the flowing river and the calm trees across sets the mood for an unforgettable meal. It was my first time to taste sinantol. And it was heaven.

3. Experience Countryside Life in Paradiso Verde

Here are interesting things about Paradiso Verde which is formatted after Costales Farm in Laguna:

Entrance fee: P130
Cabana for 25 pax: P700
Farm: ducks, native pigs
Pool: infinity pool
For Weddings: VIP Room, Function Room
